The highly festive Passover dinner, or Seder, is the most commonly observed and best known of the Jewish holidays and traditions. It enjoys a rich, spiritual kinship to the Christian faith. Traditionally, the youngest child at the Seder asks the soul-provoking question, “Why is this night different from all other nights?” It’s meant to highlight the specialness of the evening.

I think there’s something special to be found in every day. And the question in chapter 30 of Power Questions is about just this. “What made this day more special than any other?” It’s a wonderful question you can ask anyone, not just children, to make them really think about what in particular was special about their day. It magnifies gratitude and wonder.
